Promotional / doco for Pride Lands running its first 'Pride Escape' a holiday adventure program traveling to another city. Experimented using my new Canon 550d! (and working through sound issues) and also used a Sony Z7. Very speedy editing/post but had fun creating a soundtrack. Since this shoot I have purchased a nicer lens and nd filters.. (among other things!)
A short film that looks at the theme of corporate control through dystopian technology; In a future science fiction world using a Film Noir style to drive the narrative and aesthetic. Jason Whittley has disappeared. This would not be unusual in the dark future world of Mystopia where two energy mega-corporations fight for control over it's scarce resources and increasingly desperate citizens; however Jason happens to be the engineer behind the wind turbines that have been appearing around the city.. Are the turbines all that they seem to be?

Mysterious Artifact brief. This project was to conceptualise an ‘impossible video,’ what it would be like aesthetically, and an idea to abstractly reference. I choose to communicate a message from post apocalyptic earth using various found footage as well as green screen and original material.

Stills music video project. The brief was to choose a music track and edit it down and then photograph and edit appropriate footage.

Audio design project. The brief was to conceptualise the meaning of the video and design appropriate atmosphere, foley, and soundtrack. I recorded various audio such as the boat creaks, water and wind. Then composed the soundtrack using midi instruments as well as sourcing some material from audio libraries.

“Cruise Mate” An interactive project looking at way finding systems. Cruise Mate is a simple touchscreen GPS programme that allows boaties to see helpful information in the areas they are cruising and also network with fellow users of the programme, sharing ‘markers’ and locations.
